About the Role
You will join our Brokerage and Emergency Management team within the Community Partnerships branch in the Aboriginal Affairs NSW group. The Assistant Project Officer will support statewide emergency management projects, training and engagement activities that support and build AANSW staff capability to work with Aboriginal communities and improve their capacity to respond and recover from disasters.

We're Looking For
- Project and administrative support: Ability to monitor and track projects to ensure quality outcomes. Skilled in organising and supporting meetings, including secretariat duties, and managing discussions with key stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and innovation: Contribute to the design of solutions that address issues impacting Aboriginal communities.
- Stakeholder engagement: Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Aboriginal communities, local services, and government agencies.
- Research and analysis: Ability to perform independent research work to provide clear evidence-based advice to support project objectives.
