Transwa is the regional division of the Public Transport Authority (PTA) and a direct provider of public transport services that connect 240 destinations across the state, from Kalbarri in the North to Augusta in the South West and Esperance in the South East.

About the role

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding part-time position? Transwa is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Reservations Team in a senior role to contribute to the smooth operation of rail and road coach travel across Western Australia.

Your mission. Helping people get where they need to go by making rail and road coach travel bookings, issuing tickets, and providing friendly, accurate information over the phone, email, or face-to-face at our Ticketing Counters. You’ll handle customer complaints, resolve booking issues, and keep payments balanced. Plus, you might mix things up with some weekend or public holiday shifts and even support our team in different locations.

If you have a passion for helping customers, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to juggle tasks with a smile, we want to hear from you. Effective communication skills, the ability to handle tricky situations with ease, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are key. If you’re ready to bring your energy and make a real difference in metropolitan travel across WA, come join us—we can’t wait to meet you.

About You

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Proven experience in delivering effective information services in a frontline customer focussed environment.

Good interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, including demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
