We’re seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Manager to join a growing underwriting agency and play a key role in driving broker relationships, revenue growth, and market presence.

About the role:
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be the face of the business with brokers across Australia. You’ll identify growth opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and develop new ones. Working closely with the underwriting team, you’ll bring insights from the market to help shape product offerings and ensure the agency is seen as a trusted and responsive partner.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Build, manage, and grow broker relationships to increase market share
• Drive new business opportunities and support retention strategies
• Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and broker meetings
• Collaborate with underwriters to deliver tailored solutions for clients
• Provide market feedback to support product development and competitiveness

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven track record in business development from an insurer or an agency
• Strong network of broker relationships and the ability to develop new ones
• Commercially minded with a results-driven approach
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Go getter and a sales driven personality
