In this position, you’ll:
- Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations.
- Perform accounts payable tasks including processing invoices, reconciling and arrange payments.
- Perform accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and debt collection.
- Provide support to HR and payroll activities.
- Generate weekly reporting for the management team.
- Communicate with clients via phone and email, responding to queries and following up payments.
- Assist the finance team with administrative and finance-related tasks and provide general administrative support for the organisation.
Essential:
- Relevant qualifications in bookkeeping/accounting or working towards.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Team orientated, able to work collaboratively.
- Confident to work autonomously when required.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer orientated – you’ll be comfortable dealing with internal and external clients.
- Resilience and confidence to learn and grow daily.
- IT savvy, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- An interest in and ability to learn new software applications.
Desirable:
- Experience with MYOB.
- Current driver’s licence.
