About the Role
We are seeking applications for the role of Digital Campaign Coordinator. This is an essential role to deliver digital event marketing services within the Visitation Unit, concentrating on email, website, SEM and social media. Collaborate with the Events Marketing Manager and Digital Campaign Manager, and implement innovative marketing and audience development strategies within these channels.
In this role you will:
Research, Training and Development – This involves staying at the forefront of digital marketing and communications trends through ongoing research and training. The aim is to identify opportunities for improvement within QPAC, QTIX, Digital Stage and ticketing online platforms. The role ensures the implementation of innovative digital marketing strategies for optimal campaign results and enhanced digital experiences.
Digital marketing - Plan, execute, and optimise digital marketing campaigns. Leverage segmentation concepts and data insights to target the most promising prospects effectively. Utilise channels such as email, SMS, social media (both organic and paid), search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimisation (SEO), and third-party listings to achieve campaign objectives such as ticket sales and audience growth.
Email Management - Coordinate the email delivery schedule and maintenance of various email communications, including event updates, newsletters, and membership emails. Utilise HTML templates ensures consistency and functionality across email communications.
Ecommerce Coordination - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless transaction journeys and clear communication between departments. This involves maintaining accurate event information on websites and customer relationship management (CRM) system, as well as implementing tracking tags for event and conversion analytics.
Website – Working closely with the Digital Campaign Manager and Digital Project Manager to implement and test enhancements that align with user needs. This includes optimising and updating web pages, as well as managing website scheduling and promotions.
Analytics and Reporting – Providing detailed analysis and insights into campaign performance and patron behaviour. The emphasis is on generating actionable recommendations that can inform strategic decisions, both during and after campaigns.
Quality Assurance – Ensuring that all patron communications adhere to the style guidelines and maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency. This involves writing and proofreading content for the audience and SEO purposes and actively liaising with internal and external stakeholders to uphold quality standards.
Team Support - Actively participate in collaborative efforts within the team to deliver campaign elements effectively. This includes contributing to content development across online channels, assisting with training initiatives and onboarding, and fostering a supportive work environment through knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Project Management - Taking on various projects as required, such as accessibility enhancements, membership engagement initiatives, automated email programs, brand campaigns and website enhancements. This involves task coordination and managing competing demands to ensure the successful delivery of projects in line with objectives.
About You
To be successful in this role, we are looking for:
Combined Skills, Knowledge and Selection Criteria
Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, and to create compelling marketing and promotional content.
Proven track record in developing and delivering digital and communications strategies that achieve marketing objectives.
High-level analytical skills, with the ability to interpret campaign performance metrics and patron behaviour data, make data-driven recommendations, and prepare detailed reports.
Proficiency in a wide range of software and digital platforms, including advanced Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Suite (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads Manager), Meta Business Suite, TikTok, LinkedIn, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver), HTML coding, and content management systems.
Advanced knowledge and practical experience with email marketing software, including principles of segmentation, automation, and A/B testing, to drive engagement and conversions.
Understanding of current digital marketing trends, emerging technologies, consumer behaviour, SEO, SEM, social media platforms, content creation, and campaign optimisation strategies.
Creative flair with experience in website and social copywriting, basic video editing, and photography.
Demonstrated capability to plan, manage, and optimise multiple campaigns simultaneously, effectively prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments.
Ability to work autonomously while also contributing collaboratively within a team, building and maintaining strong relationships across departments.
Keen understanding of budget allocation strategies, targeting methods, platform-specific performance metrics, and industry standards.
Awareness of regulatory requirements and industry guidelines related to data privacy, email marketing laws, and advertising.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and trends in the dynamic digital marketing environment.
Knowledge of the performing arts (highly desirable).
