YOUR NEW POSITION
We are seeking the serviced of an experience Workshop Planner to join our Lisarow Service Team in New South Wales. This role will be responsible for job planning, co-ordinating workshop workflows while supporting our internal sales team and workshop personnel.
In this role you will be central to and responsible for the planning, scheduling and coordination of workshop and field service projects. You will ensure jobs are executed efficiently, safely and on time, while maintaining strong communication with internal teams, supplier and customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and schedule workshop jobs and field service projects to optimise resources and timelines
Coordinate materials, labour, and subcontractors to meet project schedules
Maintain accurate job tracking, reporting, and forecasting in JIM2 (ERP system)
Issue clear job packs including scope, safety requirements, and priorities
Monitor job progress, identifying and mitigating risks or delays
Liaise with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 45001 OHS standards
Support the workshop team with administrative tasks as required
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Previous experience as a workshop planner, scheduler, or coordinator in engineering, mining, or heavy industry
Strong understanding of maintenance, repair, and workshop processes
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with ERP/job management systems (experience with JIM2 highly regarded)
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Trade qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive) is desirable but not essential
