With significant experience in the disability sector within government and community organisations, Rubix Support is passionate about supporting people with cognitive impairments to lead the life they want to live and to achieve their goals and aspirations. Rubix Support provide support to people aged between two years to sixty-five years old. We are a registered provider under the NDIS and provide services across four main areas - positive behaviour support, support coordination, sexuality and relationship education and lifestyle support. We are focused on evidence based best practice, a commitment to social justice with a human rights lens who are passionate about achieving positive outcomes for the people we support.

Reporting to our Client Outcomes Lead, this exciting role provides you with the opportunity to develop strong sustainable partnerships with Participants and their families and enhancing the quality of life for all our Participants.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a strong coordinator who thrives in a people-focused, fast-moving environment. Calm under pressure, you combine empathy with operational know-how to deliver great outcomes for participants and teams. You are also:

• Calm, adaptable, and able to prioritise in changing situations
• Person-centred and committed to empowering people with disability
• Experienced in the disability sector, with strong SIL coordination skills
• Knowledgeable in NDIS regulations, standards, and practical application
• Proven leadership with capacity to guide and support teams
• Skilled in rostering, recruitment, and onboarding staff
• Strong communication and relationship-building with families, providers, and agencies
• Collaborative team player who also works independently and makes sound decisions
• Committed to social justice, inclusion, diversity, and organisational values
• Experienced in supporting people with disability across home and community settings
• Able to balance autonomy with teamwork and remote management when required

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is your chance to lead with purpose — supporting participants to achieve their goals while ensuring services run smoothly, safely, and in line with NDIS standards. You will:

• Oversee our SIL services
• Develop and monitor Participant Support Plans with a focus on outcomes
• Organise onboarding, safety checks, and risk assessments for new participants
• Oversee incident reporting, follow-up, and actioning improvements
• Support and guide Team Leaders and staff to deliver quality care
• Drive compliance through audits, reviews, and NDIS Practice Standards
• Prepare reports to demonstrate progress, outcomes, and funding needs
• Maintain Service Agreements and Lumary scheduling efficiently
• Recruit, induct, and mentor Lifestyle Support staff
• Lead staff development: supervision, feedback, and performance reviews
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with participants, families, and providers
• Maintain clear, positive, and responsive communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement and assist with duties as directed

SAFETY SCREENING

• Two professional references to be provided on application.
• A clear NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Working with Children Check (employee) card are required prior to commencement of employment.
• Applicants who have lived overseas for 12 months or longer during the past 10 years are required to provide the results of an international police check.
