About the Role
As our Marketing & Media Officer, you’ll be the creative force behind our communications, marketing, and events. Reporting to the People, Learning & Culture General Manager and working closely with the CEO and Executive Team, you’ll:
Lead our digital presence: Create and schedule engaging social media content—photos, videos, and stories that capture the heart of NoosaCare.
Promote our brand: Develop campaigns and materials for radio, print, and online, ensuring our message is consistent and impactful.
Coordinate events: Manage and promote events, expos, and community activities across our Tewantin and Cooroy sites.
Collaborate widely: Work with residents, families, staff, and external partners to share authentic stories and build our reputation.
Champion privacy and dignity: Ensure all communications respect the wishes and privacy of our residents and staff.
About You
You’re a storyteller at heart, with a flair for digital media and a genuine passion for community. You thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and are ready to roll up your sleeves to make a difference.
You’ll bring:
Experience in marketing, media, or communications (1-2 years+)
Social media savvy and a creative eye for photography and video
Strong writing and editing skills
Confidence to connect with people from all walks of life
Understanding of privacy, confidentiality, and ethical communication
Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for aged care

Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or related field
Current driver’s licence
Clear criminal history check (renewed every 3 years)
Right to work in Australia
