Walshs is looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Officer to manage our marketing and sponsorship activities. If you're passionate about digital content, campaign planning, and relationship building, this is your opportunity to make a big impact.

About the Role

As our Marketing Officer, you’ll work closely with business owners and internal teams to drive brand awareness, manage digital content, coordinate sponsorships and events, and elevate our external communications. This is a broad and hands-on role with real scope to contribute and grow.

What you will do:

Plan and execute marketing campaigns aligned with business objectives

Manage and grow Walshs’ social media presence – create, post, and report on content

Create content for blogs, newsletters (EDMs), website pages, and internal resources

Maintain marketing schedules and support internal teams with collateral and branding

Work with external partners for SEO, web development, and videography

Manage PR activities including media releases and bursary communications

Prepare reports and presentations for Directors and quarterly business updates

Support strategic projects and internal advocacy efforts

Drive staff engagement with internal social media initiatives

Oversee the sponsorship agreements for the firm, and ensure relationships with key stakeholders are maintained

Manage the collateral for the firm and ensure our merchandise, flyers and content is kept updated, relevant and engaging.

What you need:

A passion for marketing, communications, and digital content creation

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities

Proficiency with social media platforms, EDM platforms, and CMS tools

Creative flair with strong attention to detail

Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple deadlines

A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset

Preferred but not required:

Financial services, professional services, or similar industries

Canva, Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, WordPress, or similar tools
