Essential Qualifications & Skills

Tertiary Degree in Environmental Science, Management or equivalent
Previous experience in environmental monitoring (water, soil, air, dust, noise) and data management, within the mining industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct site monitoring and sampling for compliance
• Support audits and reviews to ensure compliance
• Manage accurate environmental data and reporting
• Prepare and submit essential environmental project documentation.
• Includes closure proposals, mine closure plans, approvals.
• Follow and comply with policies and procedures
• Support environmental projects for continuous improvement
• Develop and coordinate baseline data for applications
• Assist in managing external consultants for approvals
• Support negotiations and communication with regulatory bodies
• Ensure Mine Closure Plans are updated and accurate
• Require travelling to site in the Goldfields
