In this role you will:
• Lead the development, implementation, monitoring and review of change management plans for Digital Services and IT Group projects and change initiatives
• Lead a team of 2 training officers that provide input, document needs/requirements and support the delivery of staff training and education activities for ICT products and services across QCS
• Prepare and deliver communications materials in support of change activities
• Contribute to the success of projects and initiatives by maximising employee adoption and usage and minimizing resistance
• Focus on changes to organisational design, business processes, systems and technology
• Assess the change impacts of planned initiatives by identifying impacted stakeholders and conducting impact analyses and change readiness activities
• Proactively identify and monitor risks and develop mitigation tactics
• Leading change management work streams with a structured methodology / process, including supporting project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans
• Support the development and delivery of change communications
• Provide change leadership coaching and training to employees at all levels
• Define success metrics and measuring performance against these and provide reporting and other updates to management and project teams.
About You
The essential requirements for this role are:
• Demonstrated experience in change management roles, including creation and implementation of structured change and communication strategies and plans contributing to the successful delivery of complex ICT projects and initiatives
• Demonstrated experience delivering ICT projects and business-as-usual activities involving significant business change
• Demonstrated experience working in large, complex organisations, preferably including the public sector
• Demonstrated experience participating in project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors and vendors
• Demonstrated excellent written, verbal and negotiation skills with the ability to comfortably engage with end users, project team members, ICT teams and senior leaders.
Qualifications, professional registration, conditions and other requirements
• Change Management certifications and/or relevant academic qualifications will be highly regarded
• Knowledge of ADKAR is desirable but not essential
