About the team
The Transport Maintenance Services section plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the city's infrastructure, ensuring safe, functional, and sustainable public assets. Our team provides comprehensive maintenance services for meter maintenance, roads, traffic lines and signs, stormwater drainage systems, bridges, beaches, footpaths and waterways.
About your new role
As the successful candidate, you will form part of a work team that perform specialist tasks associated with the maintenance of the City's stormwater drainage systems.
Perform skilled and specialist tasks associated with non-tidal stormwater drainage systems including manholes, gully pits, inlet/outlet structures, pipelines and associated works.
Demonstrated ability to operate minor equipment and machinery associated with various works tasks.
We're looking for people who have:
MR Class Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
General Construction Induction White Card (Mandatory)
Enter and Work in Confined Space (Mandatory)
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Sound physical health to enable you to satisfactorily perform the physically demanding duties of this position
Demonstrated ability to interact with others in a manner conducive to creating a cooperative team environment
Effective numeracy and literacy skills commensurate with the requirements of the position
