Telecommunications Workers – Expression of Interest – Multiple Roles Available

Location: Rockhampton & Central Queensland
Pay Range: $30–45/hr depending on experience + penalties & allowances

About the Role

TDT Communications is a family-owned telecommunications and civil contractor based in Rockhampton. We’re expanding our team to deliver projects across Multiple Carrier Networks along with varied work in the private sector. The work is varied, includes civil construction, hauling, cable jointing and project management.

As we cover a large geographical area typically from Bundaberg to Townsville and west to Mt Isa, there will be a requirement to travel and work away from home. Depending on the nature of the work required and client requirements, there is also the potential for afterhours work including weekends.

What We Offer

$30–45/hr depending on the experience + penalties & allowances

Ongoing, secure work with a standard 38hr week plus overtime

Company vehicle for work use

Mandatory Requirements

Right to work in Australia (Permanent Residents only – No Visa Applicants will be considered.

Current Australian driver’s licence (HR licence required for Civil Crew)

Construction White Card

First Aid & CPR certification

Relevant Tickets for the role being applied for.

Physically fit and safety-focused

Willing to travel and work away from home

Willingness to complete a National Police Check as well as pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Nice to Have (Training Provided if Needed)

Vac truck experience

NBN or Telstra network experience

ACM (Asbestos Containing Material) removal competency

Rod, Rope & Hauling skills

Fibre/copper cable experience
