Security Architecture Analyst

  • Location - Parramatta CBD with access to hybrid work arrangements
  • Employment type - Ongoing full-time (35 hours per week)
  • Grade - Clerk Grade 7/8
  • Salary range - $113,574 pa - $125,720 pa plus employers' contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

What you'll do

As part of the Cyber Risk, Audit, and Compliance team, you'll play a key role in protecting digital assets and supporting secure service delivery across the Department.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing security risk assessments and monitoring compliance
  • Supporting security certifications and reporting on risk findings
  • Advising on controls aligned with NSW Government and industry standards
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to improve security practices
  • Contributing to project delivery in a dynamic, innovative environment

You'll be part of a skilled, collaborative team that values integrity, continuous learning, and service excellence.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a motivated cybersecurity professional who brings expertise, insight, and a commitment to excellence. We're looking for someone with:

  • Tertiary qualifications in information security or a related field, plus certifications like CISSP, CISA, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
  • Proven experience in risk assessments, security audits, and compliance reviews across business, technology, and vendor environments
  • Strong understanding of NSW Government and industry security standards
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear reports and expert advice
  • Proficiency in applying security frameworks and technologies to identify vulnerabilities, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement
