Bankstown Sports Club are looking for a Security Manager to oversee and ensure the effective delivery of security services across multiple Bankstown Sports venues, with a strong focus on maintaining staff and patron safety.

The position is responsible for fostering a culture of vigilance, promoting a high standard of customer service, driving efficiencies in operational processes, actively contributing to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across security operations

Key Responsibilities

· Emergency Systems: Establish and maintain effective emergency and crisis management protocols

· Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with law enforcement, regulators, and local liquor accords on security issues affecting the Club and community.

· Policy & Procedure Development: Implement robust security policies, safeguarding assets, members and reputation.

· Oversee security contractors, vendor and equipment procurement.

· Audit and manage security infrastructure, access controls and keys.

· Investigate incidents and report findings to management.

· Deliver staff security training and briefings.

· Lead and coach security teams for continuous improvement.

· Uphold high standards of customer service when responding to member and staff enquiries, fostering a welcoming and secure environment.

Essential Criteria

· Management level experience in Police Force or Security is essential.

· Strong record ensuring safety for staff and patrons while upholding excellent customer service standards

· Exceptional communication skills

· Skilled in security technologies (CCTV systems, access control and related software)

· RSA and Advanced RCG Competency Card Holder

· Willingness to work a flexible roster (including days, nights, weekends, peak periods)

· Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a dynamic, fast paced environment

· Current NSW Driver’s License and ability to drive between external venues

· High integrity, trustworthiness and discretion, committed to strict confidentiality

· Able to obtain and maintain a valid Police Background Check as required by security industry and Club compliance standards
