Salary Range: $84,436 - $112,331 per annum + 12% super and benefits (Health Mgr Lvl 1)

About the Opportunity
NSW Ambulance manages a diverse range of facility types at approximately 300 locations across the state and incorporates security arrangements at all sites in the form of electronic and mechanical access control, CCTV surveillance systems, intruder alarm systems, electronic safes, perimeter fencing and gates, secure rooms and other physical security infrastructure.
The Coordinator Physical Security Infrastructure is responsible for operating and maintaining physical and electronic security systems across a large statewide facility portfolio. Working as a key member within the Assets and Infrastructure team, the role operates amongst the complexities of Clinical Operations and their staff access to NSW Ambulance infrastructure, ongoing building programs of work, evolving technology platforms and operating system upgrades.
A key role of the position is to administer and maintain systems of electronic medication management infrastructure and to provide subject matter expertise to users of the system.
The position holder will also provide technical and operational advice to the Associate Director Assets and Infrastructure regarding security systems and the management of the buildings.
About you
We are looking for suitable candidates with below experience and skills:
- Hands-on and detail-oriented security professional with experience managing electronic and physical security systems across complex, multi-site environments.
- Knowledge of access control platforms like Inner Range (Integrity), DSX, and EKA Cyberweb, and are confident managing staff ID and proximity card systems to ensure safe and secure access.
- Experiences including managing and maintaining security infrastructure - such as alarms, CCTV, and electronic medication safes - alongside database administration, system upgrades, and support for both reactive and planned maintenance.
- You understand the importance of accurate access records, compliance with statutory and NSW Health policies, and the need for timely data retrieval and reporting for incidents and audits.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and can clearly explain security procedures, support users, and advise on risk management strategies.
- You’re also comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment and bring experience with asset management systems, policy implementation, and infrastructure support across a geographically diverse organisation.
