THE COMPANY:

Our valued client is one of Australia's fastest growing gourmet niche food manufacturers who are extremely proud of their hard-earned market reputation for providing their clients the best product available in their industry.

To support their continued growth and success, and implementation of a second production line, they are offering the exciting opportunity to join the team as a Day Shift Team Leader.

The key responsibilities:

Oversee & manage production activities to meet KPI’s.

Training and developing a diverse range of production team members to maintain seamless line coverage.

Ensure expectations in safety performance, production quality & customer service is being achieved.

Provide technical support

Lead culture in the factory, including improving the skill levels of direct reports.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have the following skills/experiences.

Experience as a Manufacturing Team Leader, Food Industry a distinct advantage.

Natural leadership skills to bring the best out of your team.

Technical know-how and minor troubleshooting on various manufacturing equipment

Experience with ISO quality systems, HACCP and GMP.

Proven ability to implement process and improvement initiatives

Strong planning, organisational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills both verbal and written

Focus on health & safety
