Heavy Maintenance Australia is seeking a reliable and hardworking Trade Assistant to join our team at our Riverview workshop and also our Darra operations. This is a hands-on role supporting our tradesmen and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop.

About the Role:

You'll be working closely with qualified tradesmen and the wider team, helping to keep operations running efficiently and safely.

Daily tasks include:

Assisting tradesmen with mechanical and workshop duties

Organising incoming and outgoing parts

Delivery driving and parts pickups

General workshop cleaning and upkeep

Supporting safe and clean work practices

Collection and delivery of customer vehicles

Requirements:

Manual driver's licence (essential)

HR licence (or willing to obtain)

HR licence must be obtained within 3 months of commencement

Ability to read and write

Strong work ethic and punctuality

Ability to follow directions and safety protocols

Team player with a positive attitude

Australian citizenship is required for this position
