Are you keen to learn mechanical skills and work with your hands? We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Junior Trades Assistant to join our Outdoor Power Equipment Workshop.

This is a great opportunity for a school leaver, someone starting their trade journey, or anyone passionate about small engines and machinery. No formal experience required — just a great attitude and willingness to learn!

🔩 What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting qualified technicians with the servicing and repair of outdoor power tools and small engines (e.g. lawn mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, generators)

Cleaning and preparing tools and equipment

Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop

Learning how to use tools and diagnostic equipment

Unpacking deliveries and restocking shelves

Supporting general workshop operations and customer drop-offs

✅ What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves:

Interest in mechanics or working with tools

Eagerness to learn and follow instructions

Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude

Physically fit and able to handle workshop tasks

Basic understanding of safety and manual handling

Nice-to-Haves (but not required):

School-based or pre-apprenticeship experience

Familiarity with small engines or outdoor tools

Driver’s license or reliable transport

White Card or forklift license (bonus)
