About the role
As a Marketing Officer at Yarra Ranges Council, you will plan and deliver the promotion of Council’s cultural venues, programs, public art, and creative industries. You will work across Culture Tracks and the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum brands to help build awareness and participation with the community with local creative experiences.
You will work within a small, passionate and driven team in a fast paced, exciting environment, focussing on creating and managing content across digital and traditional channels, coordinating campaigns, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. The role also involves updating websites, managing e-newsletters and social media, and using data to improve engagement and reach.
This is a full-time permanent position (38 hours per week).
This is a Band 5 role with a salary range rate between $80,490 and $89,430 per annum, plus superannuation.

Experience and skills we’re looking for
Experience working in government organisations and/or the venues, arts and entertainment industries
Tertiary education in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
3+ years of relevant marketing experience
Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Demonstrated experience with Canva, Meta, Mailchimp, Google Analytics and CMS systems
Experience working with data and reporting on campaign outcomes.
Content creation experience (Social media, digital ads and e-newsletters)
Ability to manage time, prioritise tasks, and work independently.
