About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to prepare accurate tender submissions and quotes for minor and major civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with tender requirements and adherence to deadlines.

Reporting to the senior management team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate tender submissions, quotes, and allowance sheets
• Undertaking full quantity take-offs using PlanSwift
• Obtaining subcontractor, supplier, and tip site prices and availability
• Reviewing tender documents and ensuring compliance with requirements
• Preparing and managing tender timeframes and methodologies
• Maintaining thorough records of tender documents, correspondence, and compliance
• Supporting contract negotiations and building strong supplier relationships

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven history and experience in civil estimating
• Strong industry knowledge and networks within civil construction
• Experience working with local government tenders
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong contract negotiation and communication abilities
• A collaborative mindset and desire to work as part of the management team
