Position Description:
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a motivated Payroll Officer to join their team. Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, you will work in a close knit finance team and your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

• Ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee timesheets
• Weekly payroll processing for 150+ employees
• PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
• Processing new starters and payroll adjustments
• Interpreting various EBA's and awards
• Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
• Reporting duties

Candidate Profile:
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll position as well as the following attributes:

• Energetic and positive can do attitude, with a keen eye for detail
• Well developed verbal & written communication skills
• Excellent time management & organisational skills
• The ability to confidently work both autonomously & collaboratively with others
• Strong stakeholder management, problem solving and decision making skills
