The Role

To start ASAP, this is a rare opportunity to get your foot in the door to work for a large blue-chip company who are a household name . You will become part of a close-knit AR team and perform an end-to-end AR role, based in their Melbourne CBD office.

The ideal candidate will ideally have some experience in AR with exposure to processing claims, however Accounts/Finance Officers with 1-3 years’ experience are also encouraged to apply, as full training/mentoring is provided.

Your primary duties will comprise of:

• Analysing and allocating daily Direct Credit and Bpay Files
• Accruals/Cash receipting
• EFT/Credit card processing
• Bank statement uploads
• Aged Debtor reports
• Bank Recs
• Journals
• Resolving payment queries
• Assist with Month end
• Ad hoc tasks as required by Credit Manager

The successful candidate will obtain the following:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Min 1-3 years’ experience in a similar AR/Accounts-Finance Officer position
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work quickly and accurately to deadlines
• Ability to work autonomously
