This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Australia's largest and most respected window furnishings manufacturers, based in Bayswater, Victoria, which has been operating for over 40 years.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will have the ability to work autonomously while building collaborative relationships with other departments and managers.

This is a full time, permanent, on-site role and covers the full accounts receivable process, as well as more diverse reporting requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Management of accounts receivable end-to-end

Nurturing existing relationships with clients to support ongoing business growth while controlling accounts issues

Generation of custom reports for management purposes

Creation of new reporting tools as business needs change

Communication around debtor management to internal stakeholders

Daily bank reconciliations, data entry and account management for overhead expenses

Supporting additional accounts functions as required

Required Skills & Attributes:

Experience in an accounts receivable or accounting-related role

Very strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile complex accounts

Ability to grasp new software and systems quickly

Problem-solving approach with the ability to assess quickly and ask appropriate questions

Rigor and attention to following SOPs

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Excellent professional communication manner on the phone and via email

Able to manage multiple priorities with excellent organisational skills

Ability to work well with cross-function staff

Friendly, personable and gets along with other staff
