About the Role

This is an energetic, high-impact recruitment role at the heart of our growth. Reporting to our CEO (with a planned transition under our new Head of APT Experience as that function grows), you will coordinate end-to-end hiring of our Academic Personal Trainers (APTs) – the talented tutors who deliver our mission. Your mandate: drive an exceptional candidate experience while achieving ambitious hiring targets in a fast-paced environment. No two days will be the same! Specifically, you will:

Champion the candidate experience: Ensure every prospective tutor feels valued and supported from application to onboarding. You’ll run a purpose-driven, engaging recruitment process that reflects our values of service and integrity, inspiring candidates to join our mission.

Deliver on ambitious recruitment targets: Lead our recruitment campaign to hire 300+ APTs (and scale even higher in coming years). You’ll manage high-volume talent pipelines and use innovative tools like Salesforce (CRM), VideoAsk, and Calendly to attract, screen, and onboard top talent with efficiency and care.

Coordinate end-to-end hiring operations: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle – from crafting job ads and screening interviews, to scheduling, reference checks, and offers – ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. During peak periods, you’ll supervise casual recruitment assistants to handle surges without compromising quality or detail. You thrive on keeping processes running smoothly and candidates informed at every step.

About You

You are a high-performing, values-aligned professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growth environment. More specifically, you have:

Recruitment/Talent experience: Proven experience in recruitment coordination or talent acquisition (high-volume or agency experience is a plus). You know how to juggle multiple roles and deadlines without missing a beat.

Organisational superpowers: Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills – you can manage a busy pipeline, schedule seamlessly, and keep track of moving parts in a dynamic environment.

People and communication skills: An engaging, personable approach that puts candidates at ease. You communicate clearly and confidently, providing a great experience and building rapport with applicants and stakeholders alike.

Tech savvy: Comfort with modern recruitment systems and tech. You pick up new tools quickly – familiarity with CRMs or platforms like Salesforce, VideoAsk, or Calendly is a bonus.
