About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Inventory & Spare Parts Controller to join our busy Stores team in Perth.

In this fast paced role, you’ll play a hands-on part to ensuring our workshops have what they need, when they need it and with the accurate and safe movement of spare parts, from order through to dispatch to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing of customer enquiries and spare parts orders, including maintaining a spreadsheet database of all spare parts enquiries.

Safe and effective use of a forklift to load and unload trucks and pallet racking.

Receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch orders to both external and internal customers.

Liaise with suppliers, couriers and workshop staff to ensure timely deliveries.

Receipt of goods inwards; checking goods received, signing and processing paperwork.

Keeping a register of tools and sending for repair when required.

Picking and issuing build of materials kits for workshop staff.

Make deliveries and collections from various locations when required.

Provide stock takes on a rolling basis. Investigating and correcting stock variances between physical stock and computer stock records.

General housekeeping duties, keep stores clean and tidy, and keep stock organised and labelled.

Other general tasks as required.

About You

Forklift license essential.

Current WA driver’s license.

Strong communication skills – both oral and written.

Ability to liaise with internal and external customers.

Similar experience in an inventory position within an automotive / manufacturing environment.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Must have a good level of computer literacy: excel, word and outlook.
