We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director to join our leadership team. In this role, you will support the Campus Director in delivering excellence across education, operations, and family engagement while inspiring and guiding your campus team.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework (NQF).
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children through warm, responsive, and engaging interactions.
- Ensure the campus environment is safe, nurturing, and inclusive for all children, families, and team members.
- Partner with families to create an exceptional customer experience, ensuring professional and timely communication at all times.
- Support the Campus Director in implementing The OAC Grow Curriculum, maintaining compliance, and achieving high-quality outcomes through the Campus Quality Framework.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and accountability within the team.
- Contribute to campus business outcomes, including rosters, WH&S compliance, and community connections.
What We're Looking For
- Approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education
- Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Child Protection qualifications.
- 2-3 years demonstrated leadership experience in an early childhood setting.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, and leading teams.
- Strong knowledge of sector regulations and compliance requirements.
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and advocacy for quality care.
- Alignment with our HEART Principles: Honesty, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork.
