Purple Heather is on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate High-Intensity Disability Support Mentors to join our growing team across the Perth North Metro area.

✨ About the Role

This is not your average support role. You'll be supporting participants with:

Complex physical and/or intellectual disabilities

Behaviours of concern

Personal care and mobility assistance

Medication administration and health monitoring

Community access and daily living skill-building

🔍 We're Looking For

Proven experience in high-intensity or complex care settings

Minimum of 1 year experience in high-intensity or complex care settings

Calm, confident, and proactive approach to challenges

Excellent communication and de-escalation skills

Trauma informed lens to the relationships you build with participants and families.

Genuine commitment to person-centred care

Availability for morning, afternoon, overnight, and weekend shifts

📋 Requirements

Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent

NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current First Aid & CPR certification

Seizure Management training

All required training certifications must be obtained before commencing employment

Manual Handling & Medication Administration training

Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
