About the role

Join Momentum Disability Support Co. as a Disability Support Worker in Perth, WA 6000. In this casual role, you will provide personalised care and assistance to individuals living with disabilities, supporting them to live independently and participate in their community.

What you'll be doing

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Provide companionship and social support, engaging clients in recreational and leisure activities

Advocate for clients' rights and needs, ensuring they receive the appropriate services and support

Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and procedures

Collaborate with the broader care team to develop and implement individual support plans

Uphold the highest standards of safety and wellbeing for all clients

What we're looking for

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support qualification is highly desirable

A minimum of 12 months of experience

Experience providing care and assistance to individuals with disabilities, either in a professional or personal capacity

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients

Commitment to promoting independence, choice, and social inclusion for people with disabilities

Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate the diverse needs and preferences of clients

First aid certification and a valid driver's licence are highly desirable
