Mental Health & Disability Support Worker (Casual) – Wellard, WA

Alliance MultiCare Services is looking for compassionate and reliable Mental Health & Disability Support Workers to join our team in Wellard, WA. This is a casual role with flexible shifts, supporting clients with complex physical disabilities, including quadriplegia.

If you have experience in aged care or disability support, particularly with hoisting, bowel care, showering, and transfers, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and household duties.

Provide emotional support and meaningful companionship.

Support clients to live independently and participate in community life.

Advocate for client needs and liaise with healthcare professionals.

Keep accurate records and documentation in line with policies and standards.

What We're Looking For

Experience in disability or aged care, with knowledge of mental health support.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in aged care or disability support.

Relevant qualifications (Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent).

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification must be held at the time of application.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others.

A valid driver's licence and reliable, insured vehicle.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
