The Anglicare WA Suicide Postvention support programs, ARBOR and CYPRESS, provide counselling and support to individuals, children and families who have experienced bereavement by suicide. The programs are delivered as part of a local, responsive, and integrated service delivery framework.
About the Role
As the Coordinator, you will lead the operational and clinical delivery of both programs, ensuring alignment with contract requirements. You’ll provide strategic oversight, team leadership, and clinical guidance, while actively fostering relationships with community networks to promote awareness and strengthen suicide postvention support across Western Australia.
This is a full time permanent position (37.5 hours per week)
About you
You are an experienced leader with a strong clinical background, passionate about supporting individuals and families through suicide bereavement. You thrive in coordinating services, guiding teams, and building meaningful connections within the community to promote awareness and ensure impactful postvention support.
To achieve success in the role you will:
- hold a Tertiary Qualification in a Human Services discipline: Counselling or Psychology and eligible for AHPRA registration
- Substantial industry experience with specialist knowledge in the mental health field and in particular suicide postvention. Knowledge of the issues that affect mental health and suicide postvention supports
- Clinical expertise with a particular focus on trauma and suicide
- Experience in effective team leadership
- Sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated computer literacy and data reporting.
- Ability to work in culturally appropriate ways.
- Embrace a culture of diversity and inclusion
The successful candidate must also possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a valid Working with Children Check and a WA Drivers Licence.

- A competitive salary from $117,526.50 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
