The Firm & Role
Our client is a well-established boutique law firm located at Bundall on the Gold Coast, led by a personable and experienced Director who fosters a genuinely supportive and collaborative culture. This is a place where people enjoy coming to work, feel valued and are encouraged to grow.

With around 1,200 settlements annually, the firm is now seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to step into a leadership role, supporting and supervising its busy residential conveyancing team. You'll be the go-to expert, providing high-level advice, guiding the team through complex matters and handling a small number of high-value files yourself (around 7-8 per month).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Lawyer who enjoys mentoring, problem-solving and driving best practice, without the pressure of a heavy personal file load.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-level legal advice across residential conveyancing files

Supervise and mentor a team of conveyancers

Step in on complex or high-value conveyancing matters

Conduct legal research and interpret the Property Law Act

Ensure compliance and uphold best practice standards

Want variety? If you currently practise in another area such as wills & estates or commercial leasing, our client welcomes you continuing to practise in these areas alongside your conveyancing leadership role.

About You
To be successful in this position, you will:

Be a qualified Lawyer with proven expertise in property law and conveyancing

Have a strong understanding of the Property Law Act and REIQ contract

Be confident providing high-level legal advice and solutions

Enjoy mentoring and leading a team
