Diy Drip is a Perth-based jewellery brand, and we’re opening our first permanent store at Westfield Carousel! We’re looking for an experienced, self-motivated Retail Manager to lead our team, oversee day-to-day operations, and create a welcoming shopping experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role with direct support from the owner and help shape the future of Diy Drip's retail experience.
Start: Training commences end of September
Wage: Base $70,000 per year (full-time) + applicable penalties and bonuses
Hours: 40hrs/week — Tue–Fri 9am–6pm, Sat 12pm–5pm (Sun/Mon off) (flexible)
Location: Westfield Carousel
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and motivate the retail team to deliver excellent customer service.
Manage staff scheduling, including coverage for pop-ups.
Oversee daily store operations, cash handling, and customer service standards.
Receive and process stock, ensure the store is fully replenished, and maintain visual merchandising standards.
Monitor inventory through monthly stocktakes and implement theft prevention practices.
Track sales and KPI reports (for reporting purposes only, no individual sales targets for staff) and use insights to improve overall store performance.
Support brand activity through light content creation (e.g. Instagram stories, staff reels).
Foster a positive team culture, including quarterly team meetups.
Requirements
2–3 years retail management experience (fashion, jewellery, or lifestyle preferred).
Strategic thinking with strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
Confident in rostering, staff training, and performance management.
Knowledge of stock control, loss prevention, and visual merchandising.
Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment with hands-on responsibility.
Skilled in managing customer service emails and maintaining a professional communication style.
Passionate about jewellery, fashion, and creating great customer experiences.
