We are recruiting for one of their luxurious Lifestyle Villages, purpose built for the over 50s seeking a lifestyle where homeowners can create their dream home and still have the freedom to escape and enjoy their travels. Everything is taken care of while they are away!

Set on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula in the Moreton Bay region, Rothwell offers a relaxed coastal lifestyle with all the essentials close at hand. Stroll along the foreshore, enjoy weekend markets, and soak up the café culture, all while being just a short drive from Brisbane. It’s a community-minded area where bayside living meets everyday convenience – the perfect backdrop for both work and life.

It is the ultimate place for lovers of an active lifestyle and perfect for the over 50s in Queensland.

From the first day that the homeowners walk into the community, and throughout their entire journey, the fabulous Village Manager is there to support and manage the day to day operations of the community.

One of the key success factors for this role is to be able to create and maintain a happy, welcoming, caring and safe community that has high homeowner involvement, satisfaction and attracts future homeowners.

so what does a typical day look like?

As the Village Manager, your days will involve;

Developing rapport and providing outstanding customer service to homeowners

Managing the day-to-day site operations of the community

Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and the community

Managing the community’s financial performance competently

General office administration and accounts

Organisation of events, catering, and programs for the community

Supporting the Sales Team and all other members of the operational team

Working independently whilst also being part of a broader team and demonstrating a flexible, adaptable attitude in all situations

Communicating with homeowners and work through challenges they present in a friendly, cooperative and understanding manner – whilst demonstrating empathy at all times

Serenitas provide terrific support to their village managers to make sure they have all the tools needed to keep their communities humming along.

A good salary PLUS a $500 bonus for every home sale that that the Sales team are involved in.

how will I know if I’m their people?

The best background for this role would be from candidates with experience managing other Villages or Independent Living Communities or Large Holiday Parks with Permanent Residents.

It would also be useful to have Facility Management and/or Trade expertise or experience, and Real Estate Property management or Management Rights experience

If you have developed an understanding of land lease models or you've worked with Owners Corporations then you would also work beautifully in this role.
