About the Position
Conferences, Meetings & Events team. 11 events spaces across 3 world class venues in The State Theatre, Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Hamer Hall.
In conjunction with the Senior Manager, Hospitality and Events, you will lead the team effectively to create memorable experiences for corporate daytime clients, cocktail parties, and banquet dinners. 11 events spaces across 3 world class venues in The State Theatre, Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Hamer Hall.
The role will also include working across both Members Dining Room & Presidents Lounge, assisting with the overall management of the outlets with a focus on creating client relationships with regular patrons, whilst also supporting as needed in other Hospitality Outlets.
Supervisors will need to be available across a variety of roster patterns and willing to work longer hours as required in a busy fast paced operations team.

Your Skills and Experience
- Experience in effectively leading the performance of a team in an event operations environment
- Experience in effectively leading the performance of a team in an a la carte dining environment
- Experience in client management from onset of event through to departure
- Solutions focused, able to proactively resolve issues in real time
- Experience and knowledge of food handling standards and OHS compliance
- Experience in the delivery of customer service excellence
- Food Handling Certificate
- Current RSA Certificate

The Hospitality team sits within the Destination and Audience Pillar and is responsible for the exceptional service and delivery of all food and beverage related activity in Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
