About the Role
TAFE SA is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable education professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and have industry currency in Early Childhood Education and Care or an industry area that is delivered by TAFE SA. A Principal Lecturer is expected to focus upon leadership and qualitative improvements in educational processes and programs. The Principal Lecturer will support quality educational outcomes for the Centre of Excellence in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Teaching and Learning Specialists at TAFE SA are Principal Lecturers who support educational quality and compliance across the whole organisation by:
- leading excellence in contemporary teaching and learning practice
- developing systems and processes
- fostering innovation
- advising, supporting and mentoring Educators
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Academic qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (Adult, Vocational and Workplace Learning) awarded by the University of South Australia, or educational qualifications deemed equivalent by the Classification Committee, and qualifications in their field of expertise.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
- Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
- Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
- May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
- Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
