About the role
The primary purpose of the HIM Lead – Data Quality is to strategically manage, maintain and supervise the data quality and integrity of the information collected in clinical information systems across West Moreton Health (WMH).
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to liaise and negotiate with health professionals, government agencies and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed analytical problem solving and organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise and organise work.
- High level knowledge in Health Information Management practices and the ability to implement and maintain quality management strategies, including ability to maintain accreditation standards.
- High level knowledge of relevant software applications including but not limited to ieMR (PowerChart), Hospital Based Corporate Information System (HBCIS), FirstNet and Enterprise Systems Management (ESM).
- High level of experience in the management, administration, and technical aspects of hospital information systems, including extraction, interpretation and provision of patient information.
- Ability to actively participate in a working environment by leading and supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Appointment to this position requires proof of tertiary qualification in Health Information Management.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
