About the Opportunity
We’re looking for strategic and technically proficient People & Culture Systems Specialists to join our teams in Osborne, SA and Henderson, WA. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the implementation, optimisation, and management of our people technology platforms. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with evolving business needs enabling seamless employee experiences and data-driven decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with both IT and P&C teams to drive continuous improvement and support enterprise-wide workforce initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain HRIS modules to support core HR processes such as onboarding, performance, and compensation.
- Lead and contribute to the development of the People Technology Strategy.
- Manage system upgrades, testing, and vendor collaboration.
- Identify and implement system enhancements to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and external regulations (e.g., data privacy, audit readiness).
- Conduct periodic reviews of system roles, permissions, and audit logs.
- Deliver training and support to P&C and business users on system functionality and updates.
About You
- Tertiary qualification in HR, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 8 years’ post-qualification experience in HRIS or related systems.
- Proven experience with platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle HCM, or similar.
- Skilled in data and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and knowledgeable in data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Strong background in project management and system implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a positive organisational culture and drive performance excellence.
- Experience in defence, industry, or similar sectors is highly regarded.
Eligibility
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
