BRAUD AUSTRALIA, based in Gepps Cross, Naracoorte and Summertown, we are the Australian Importer and Distributor of New Holland BRAUD Grape and Olive Harvesters. We are the longest serving dedicated Grape Harvester Distributor in Australia.

Our affiliated companies are also dealers of some of the largest agricultural, construction, turf, and power equipment brands in the world.

The BRAUD harvester is a French made High-Tech Harvester, adopting similar technology as the New Holland grain harvesters and their wide range of Tractors.

An opportunity exists at Braud Australia for a Specialised Diesel Mechanic for FIELD SERVICE and TECHNICAL SUPPORT to join our team, principally at our Gepps Cross branch, but opportunities at our 2 other branches as well.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

* Performing routine servicing, maintenance, full machine overhauls and technical repairs on and off site

* Fault diagnosis and trouble shooting of mechanical, hydraulic, electronic systems - technical knowledge and computer based diagnostics tools

* Providing technical advice, support and assistance to customers and our dealer network, Australia wide

* Technical reporting and monitoring of technical cases, for both our customers and dealer network, Austrlaia wide

* Ensuring compliance with OHS requirements

* Seasonal travel and out of hours work (mostly in regional SA) will be required and weekend work throughout the season (Grape harvest season generally late December to April)

* Exceptional attention to detail and a willingness to learn and grow with the team

* Heavy focus on customer communications and satisfaction

To be successful in this role the applicant must be a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic with previous experience in a variety of agricultural or construction equipment. A current SA drivers licence is required and a Forklift and MR licence would be looked upon favourably, however it is not essential. Light Vehicle mechanics or 3-4 Year apprentices will also be considered!!
