Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, and desserts.

Develop and plan menus, ensuring a balance between traditional Indian flavours and modern dietary trends.

Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.

Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.

Collaborate with management to create seasonal and special event menus.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Indian Cuisine Chef.

Relevant culinary qualifications are desired with at least Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, preferably an additional Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Hospitality.

Minimum of two years of work experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen

Strong understanding and knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
