MCWA is an in-home aged care provider with over 40 years’ experience that focuses on supporting the multicultural ageing and elderly communities in Australia. We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Head of Clinical care.

About the Role

The Head of Clinical Care will oversee all clinical service delivery by MCWA, ensuring all clients remain safe and independent in their own home. In this role, you will lead a team of nurses and allied health professionals, ensuring clinical excellence, safety, and compliance with aged care standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in driving innovative, person-centered care models that meet the unique needs of in-home aged care clients.

What you’ll be doing.

· Lead and support clinical staff providing in-home care services, including nurses, care coordinators, and therapists.

· Develop and maintain clinical policies and procedures specific to home care delivery and compliance with aged care regulations.

· Ensure quality assurance, risk management, and clinical governance practices are upheld.

· Promote best practices in disease management, medication safety, and falls prevention in the home setting.

· Oversee clinical training, mentoring, and professional development for home care clinical teams.

· Champion a culture of empathy, respect, and responsiveness to client needs and preferences.

· Produce accurate and timely reports to support business decisions and performance tracking.

About You

· Degree in nursing required

· Experience with my aged care

· Has a great understanding of the aged care reform priorities

· Has extensive experience in managing a team/department

· Has strong time management skills

· Has experience in leading individuals and teams

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team

· Can maintain an agile approach to operations

· Demonstrate a high level of resilience
