Full-Time | Leadership Role
Adventist Care (WA) is seeking a compassionate and experienced Care Manager to lead our 45-bed residential aged care facility and oversee our support at services at Rossmoyne Waters. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a values-driven organisation committed to person-centred care and excellence.
About the Role
As Care Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across clinical governance, staff development, financial oversight, and stakeholder engagement. You'll foster a positive workplace culture aligned with our Christian ethos and ensure high-quality care delivery in compliance with aged care standards.
You will be well supported by a dedicated team including:
A Quality and Compliance Officer
A Clinical Nurse
A Support at Home / Assisted Living Coordinator
And other key support functions across the organisation
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multidisciplinary care teams.
Oversee clinical, kitchen, and cleaning departments.
Drive quality improvement and compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
Manage budgets, AN-ACC funding, and financial reporting.
Support independent living residents via assisted living and support at home programs.
Promote a caring, nurturing environment for residents and staff.
Ensure the organisation's governing body is well informed of the services' performance and compliance.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
5+ years post-qualification nursing experience.
2+ years leadership experience in aged care or healthcare.
Strong knowledge of Australian aged care standards, infection control, and funding models.
Strong knowledge of Australian aged care standards, infection control, and AN-ACC funding models (with experience in ACFI an advantage).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical / administrative systems
Current National Police Check
Eligible to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualifications in Management, Leadership, or Gerontology.
Experience in dementia care program development.
