Job description:

The Opportunity

As a Field Service Technician, you will be required to travel and work remotely, providing competent and efficient services to northwestern NSW, maintenance, service, and repairs to Komatsu and customer equipment.

You will contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency through your efforts. This role will work semi-autonomously and will have to manage and take responsibility for their workload and job scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Produce machine condition and technical reports.
• Ability to demonstrate an appropriate level of technical understanding of the design & function of Komatsu equipment.
• Ensuring the quality of work is aligned with Komatsu documentation and specifications.
• Workmanship is completed to a professional standard and on time.
• Liaise with the customer where appropriate and report on the customer interaction.
• Ensure that timesheets, service reports, and relevant documentation are completed accurately and promptly.

Role Located: Gunnedah, NSW

Roster / Hours: Monday to Friday / 7 AM to 3:06 PM + overtime

Remuneration: $42.73 to $45.34 ph + super + overtime + tool of trade vehicle

What we are looking for:

• Mobile plant trade certificate or equivalent
• Proven HD Fitter experience repairing and maintaining construction and utility mobile plant
• Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously
• Commitment to safety and the ability to work in remote areas
• A current LR / MR / HR license or willing to obtain one before the start date
