The Position
Our client is seeking a Horticulture Team Leader to manage a small crew of 1-3 team members. This is a hands-on, site-based role, where you'll not only oversee and delegate tasks but also work alongside your team to deliver premium horticultural and garden maintenance services across stunning luxury homes in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, motivating, and supporting a small crew on-site
Carrying out horticultural and softscaping tasks, including:
Lawn care - mowing, edging, fertilising
Pruning, hedging, and specialist plant care
Planting and mulching
Weed and pest management
Operating landscape maintenance machinery
Ensuring projects meet high-quality standards and client expectations
Building strong client relationships and providing excellent customer service
Upholding workplace health and safety standards

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be passionate about horticulture, gardens, and plants, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to inspire confidence in both clients and colleagues. You will bring:
Minimum 3 years' practical experience in horticulture
Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens, or similar (preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
White Card + valid driver's licence
Excellent presentation and time management skills
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality results in luxury environments
