Grolife Landscape Management is Queensland’s fastest-growing landscape construction and maintenance company. Established in 2016, Grolife has grown to a workforce of over 50 staff. Grolife Specialises in premium garden and landscape maintenance for a wide range of commercial, industrial and retail centres.

THE POSITION

Grolife is now expanding our service to offer a premium service to high profile properties across the Brisbane CBD, Fortitude Valley and Newstead area. These sites are properties that require a higher level of attention to detail and a specific approach to pruning and plant management. A professional presentation and strong communication skills to liaise with our high profile clients is also required.

The Team Leader Role will include the following -

Leading a 2 person team (additional as the division grows)

Position available in Brisbane CBD

Helping build our highly regarded Grolife brand within quality work and presentation

General Landscape garden maintenance of podium gardens, lawns, hedges, trees and hanging planters

Treatment and application of herbicides and pesticides

Implementation of fertilization regimes, and nutrient injection systems

Irrigation maintenance, testing, and repairs

Working on some of Brisbane's most high profile sites

Operation of company vehicles and equipment

Management of yourself and others to achieve timelines and standards

Effective communication with management and customers

Operation of a smartphone app to produce job reports and manage tasks

Proactively identifying, reporting and solving issues

THIS ROLE DOES REQUIRE PRIOR EXPERIENCE

Experience working in Horticulture and landscape maintenance

Knowledge of Fertilization requirements for planted gardens

Knowledge of irrigation systems and control units

Cert in working at heights (prefered)

Cert in Horticulture

Ability to set and achieve own goals and work by yourself

Well presented

Manual driver’s license

ACDC license

Demonstrated ability in plant identification

Demonstrated ability in plant disease identification and treatment plans

Demonstrated ability in pest identification and treatment plans

Current First Aid (preferred but not required)

White Card (preferred)
