UBank's customer service team is expanding. The main responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Answering inbound calls from personal customers and brokers, about a range of simple to complex enquiries
- Adapting customer service techniques to ensure relevance to the current market/banking conditions to ensure that the service provided is helpful.
- Investigate issues and promptly escalate and collaborate with the relevant teams to resolve any issues.
- Entering customer details, activities, and opportunities into the system to ensure a robust database is maintained
This is a 6-month temporary assignment with a start date of 27th October or3rd November 2025, in the Sydney CBD with the potential of extension or permanency. Paying an attractive rate of $37.13 per hour plus super.
This is a full-time role with a rotating roster of 38 hours a week. Monday-Friday between 8am-8:30pm & Saturday and Sunday between 8 am-6pm.
You will be provided with your roster a few weeks in advance, with one or two weekends a month compulsory. Training is provided in the office for the first 4-6 weeks, working Monday-Friday. Once completed, you will transition onto a hybrid working model working 2 days from home. Weekend work attracts a higher hourly rate.
What you need to succeed:
- Previous direct customer service experience. Call centre experience is desired but not mandatory.
- Hospitality & retail customer service experience is highly regarded
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly resilient with an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
