About the role

Yering Station, a renowned winery located in the heart of the Yarra Valley, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Cellar Door & Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional hospitality experience to our visitors, ensuring they leave with lasting memories of our world-class wine and impeccable service.

What you'll be doing

Welcoming and assisting customers in the cellar door or restaurant, providing knowledgeable recommendations on our wine and food selections

Serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring prompt and attentive service

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety standards

Participating in regular staff training to enhance your product knowledge and customer service skills

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role, preferably in a winery or restaurant environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers

A passion for wine and a willingness to continuously expand your product knowledge

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the stamina to work on your feet for extended periods

A positive, friendly and professional attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
