We're an 11-year established, lively and fun basement steakhouse and bar in the CBD, renowned for our individualised approach to service. Now in the Worlds 101 Best Steak Restaurants, we're on the hunt for stong front of house professionals.

If you don't know us, we offer a great work environment with plenty of flexibility. We bring a one-team mentality, where front of house and kitchen work as one. Good tips, staff meals, no late nights and we're closed on Sunday and Monday so everyone gets time to recharge.

We'll develop your knowledge with regular training on all things hospitality. There'll be banter, great music and awesome customers who love the Meatmaiden experience.

We're looking for people either early on in their hospitality career or strongly established.

SECTION WAITERS

We're looking for both senior section waiters with a wealth of experience who're serious about hospitality or hungry amateur waitsperson who's willing to learn!

Wine, spirit, cocktail and beer knowledge will give you a definite advantage

Ideally you'd have a minimum 3 years experience in restaurant hospitality

Must be able to demonstrate a complex understanding for the ins and outs of our food and drinks menu

Must be able to dress sharp and look professional

Must be comfortable building a strong personal rapport with guests

Enjoy developing and helping lesser experienced section waiters to be as amazing as they can be

Must have a passion for providing seriously memorable hospitality

RSA required

HOSTS

We're looking for casual hosts to work around 20 hours a week.

Must have experience with OpenTable or a similar reservation software

Must dress sharp and always look presentable on the door

Must be proficient at maximizing the number of guests

Have a good attituded and always be happy to work

Bonus point for any hosts happy to work section during quieter nights of the week

RSA required

RUNNERS

We're looking for a casual runner to work around 20 hours a week.

Must be able to carry three plates

Must be able to follow direction

Must drop dishes at tables and be comfortable explaining them to guests

Must be able to work under pressure

Must carry a good energy into work with them

Must be able to work a Friday and Saturday night
