About the Role
As Workshop Supervisor, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of a truck service and maintenance workshop, ensuring repairs and servicing are delivered safely, on time, and to high standards. You’ll allocate jobs, supervise staff, ensure quality control, and play a hands-on role when needed.
This role suits a practical leader who enjoys being part of a workshop environment, supporting the team, and taking pride in getting trucks back on the road.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and motivating workshop staff, including training and mentoring apprentices
- Allocating and overseeing repair and service jobs to meet deadlines
- Ensuring quality standards, safety compliance, and workshop efficiency
- Supporting with diagnostics and hands-on repairs when required
- Managing job records, stock control, and workshop administration
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
- Experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Leading Hand, or similar in truck maintenance
- Trade qualifications in Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Fitting / Automotive Mechanical Technology
- Strong technical skills with Volvo, Scania, or Isuzu trucks highly regarded
- Leadership ability – you know how to get the best out of a team while maintaining safety and quality standards
- A preference for regional living, with interest in building a lifestyle in Moranbah
