Your Position:-

This role is a vital member of the Parks and Open Space team, you will be responsible to lead a small team and ensure that all maintenance and cleanliness of public reserves are being met. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities for reserves, including scheduling work to meet mowing schedules. The role involves maintaining records using Assetic Mobility technology and working across the Burwood LGA. Reporting to the Senior Team Leader Parks and Gardens, this position requires flexibility in performing various duties such as street cleaning, litter-bin collection, parks and playground maintenance, and inspections.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:-

• Lead a team to deliver mowing and maintenance of Burwood's reserves
• Plan team tasks to ensure service levels are met
• Use mobile devices to track mowing and maintenance progress in Smartsheets
• Conduct routine inspections of reserves, including those maintained by contractors
• Perform maintenance tasks, including emptying bins and cleaning park furniture
• Inspect playgrounds, reporting any faults that cannot be addressed by the team
• Work with the other six Team Leaders to perform quarterly weed spraying in public streets

To be successful in this role you will have:-

• WHS Introduction to Construction Certificate (White Card)
• Current NSW Class MR Driver's Licence
• Traffic Controllers Certificate and Implement Traffic Control Plans Certificate
  
• Chainsaw Licence
• AQF3 Chemical Certificate
